Volcanic eruptions are the scariest natural disasters imo because if big enough it could be the end of the human life. The smoke could block out the sun in the skies and heat up the air and we’d be doomed.
I live in South Jersey, and I literally just had a T3-4 Tornado destroy my home and my separate business building that sat at the back of my property on sep 1st, 2021. We had 7 Tornados in South Jersey that day, and the largest of the day passed directly over my neighborhood. Fema and the government agencies that came out to my property 2 days after the tornado hit, I was trying to cut a path way to the disaster and they told me that the eye passed directly over my home. I was home alone when it happened, and I had to tuck under the basement steps. The warning was going off on my phone, and I said out loud, " yeah yeah yeah nothing ever actually happens," and I tried to silence the warning. But this time, it wouldn't let me silence it! So that's when I read it, and it was different this time. It didn't say "possible" this time… it said one was heading directly at me. So I was in the building at the back of my 2 acre property, and I looked outside… it was pitch dark like it was midnight at 3 pm in the afternoon. It was already almost on top of me at this point. So I began hauling ass to my house. My neighborhood was heavily wooded area… and my home sat in the woods. By the time I reached my back door… gigantic oak trees were literally sliding down my street! My car was hoping off the ground!!! I ran down the steps to hide, and I could hear and feel trees hitting my house!! The glass and windows were all busting out! I'll NEVER EVER EVER FORGET THAT NOISE IN MY LIFE!!!! it sounded like a freight train crashing into a jumbo jet engine! As I was tucked under the steps in my basement concrete floor… I could literally feel the gigantic 300 year old oak trees being ripped out of the ground around my home! Their roots actually were all around my home… and that's what saved my life! As my house was being turned into a twisted mangled pile, I could hear and feel the trees being thrown through my home like darts going through paper!! I started saying my goodbyes OUTLOUD to my family!! After what seemed like an entire lifetime… it feel silent, and I could hear the rain going through the pile of mangled mess on top of me! I had to climb out of the pile that was once my home… just to see nothing but 75 foot piles, 360° all around me, of twisted and mangled trees, pieces of my home, others' homes, wires, poles, leaves, and even dirt.. all round me. I was literally trapped in and had to climb through the piles of trees. I heard my neighbors yelling out for help and others yelling to guide us out of the mess! Half a mile down the road where it was clear! It was dark and night time now, pouring rain and PITCH BLACK because there were no lights or electricity in the area now. As I climbed my way out of a half a mile of twisted and mangled mess… I made it out soaked and EXHAUSTED! longest and worst day of my life! I had to live in and out of hotels for over a year while my home was being rebuilt! People think because you have insurance, that you will get everything back… WRONG! I had to fight with my insurance company every day, and I am still FIGHTING with my insurance to this day… to cover half a million dollars worth of everything I lost in my separate business building that sat at the back of my property! My home was finished just 5 months ago, and my separate business building is almost done now… but I've had to fight with my insurance to cover almost everything I lost from my business! It has been an absolute nightmare. Don't even get me started on the scavengers and vultures that were STEALING stuff from my property, from the mess that was left! And the thieves were stealing all my stuff during the process of NY home being rebuilt!! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemies and hope that you never have to go through what I ve been put through. You never think that something bad like that will happen to you!!! But iam one of the people in those statistics that you see on the news and stories like this video! DONT become used to receiving warnings and blowing them off if you happen to get them alot! Because people get complacent and figure nothing will happen… and that's when it will happen! Always tell you loved ones that you love them every time you talk/see them! Because you never know when it's our time! Have a good one, and stay safe, everyone!

The first story about the Camp Fire is heartbreaking. PG&E should have faced serious legal consequences for the losses of life and property.
One of my college besties and her husband live in Santa Rosa. They literally survived the Tubbs Fire in 2017 by escaping to their pool in the middle of the night. They lost absolutely everything including their cats, who were their furry children. They have no children of their own and their pets were everything to them. They lost their entire house and everything in it. Nothing was spared.

Poorly done. Should have labeled it how PG&E corporate greed is still killing Californians. Do you think the cables have been replaced, and done right by burying cables? No. We will keep burning down, even though PG&E cuts everyone's power when the wind blows hard. Natural? I'm angry and triggered by 3:30. Natural, my arse!
The planet will always find a way to correct itself. It cares not what gets in its way. We can try to manipulate it all we want, but we wont win in the long run. We are moreso just accelerating its wrath at this point.
While the reference doesn't really fit the serious tone of the video I think it is still an apt to say…"Damn, Nature! You Scary!"
