There's a good chance that if that life-saving effort had taken place in the UK (I assume in the US too), the poor guy would be sued for invading her personal space, touching her inappropriately or without her permission, assault, and probably whiplash too. As well as many other things that could be conjured up. Never under estimate some female's ability to play the 'victim' card.
