I have had my hair professional cut and colored my whole life and you use hair color from stores that sell professional products not cheep bad products. That is what damaged your hair also use conditioner and a wet brush and you could have gotten it out. Don't cut your hair at home do it with a professional

As someone with long wavy hair, gently brushing it with conditioner in it would have helped quite a bit. I will sit there and spend an hour detangling hairs one by one if I have to.

You’re hair looked like it was already really matted and tangly to begin with, not brushing your hair before colouring it defs would’ve done that, and same with shampooing it and putting it all on top of your head while already tangly it would’ve just made it worse

My hair is over 4 feet and has been way way worse from Dutch braids I had in for almost a week plus swimming at a hotel. It just takes a little patience and some brushing.
My dad brushed my hair for 3 hours once, my hair mats were way worse than hers. My hair is 2 feet long and I haven’t cut it since 2d grade. I’m in 6th now and I dye my hair all the time. My hair looks like Hers every few days because I swim.

I don't think it has anything to do with anybody's hair being unhealthy it's just the fact that she used her mask & it had a chemical reaction. When I was a beginner i used my own shampoo & conditioner it never has done that before. Now that I am very well a master at doing my own hair I don't use shampoo no more I use conditioner only bcuz a lot of salons recommend u only use conditioner so it doesn't bleed out the color makes it stays longer bcuz shampoo has some ingredients that strips the hair color
