  1. Dogs are not Christmas presents. They are a lot of work, and a lot of money. Adopting a dog is a commitment that, depending on the age of the pup, could be anywhere from a couple years for a senior dog up to 20 years if you adopt a puppy.

  2. Please adopt responsibly, especially around the holidays. Those cute puppies grow up to be adults who still need just as much love and attention (in some cases, even more so) as the day you brought them home. If you can't commit years of your life to an animal, consider fostering instead!

  3. If you put the QR code in the bottom corner, then when someone pushes pause so they can use it, the player controls cover it up. Better to put it at the top or to the side.

  4. A senior dog!! At last!!!!! It's such a great segment but with the inclusion of an adult dog, it was really touching and wonderful to watch. I hope the trend continues!!

  5. I worked at a local humane society adoption event. I was a "people ambassador," basically talking to people about pets, adoptions, and some of the dogs. There was an older dog, about 10 years old. One older woman came to visit her, and she fell in love with the dog. While the woman was completing the adoption paperwork, another woman came to visit the dog and she also fell in love with her. When I told the second woman that someone was adopting the dog, she asked me to put her on a wait list if it didn't work out. When they talked of the dog, both women said the same thing to me. They wanted a dog that was in the same stage of life as themselves. The dog was sweet, calm, and looked to be good companion. After that experience, I looked at older dogs differently. I could talk with potential adopters about the special qualities of older dogs. Even myself, if I were to adopt a dog, I'd look for an adult. I think that having older dogs on the show could lead to growing awareness of their need for homes too.

  6. So instead of some stupid NFt’s like trump is selling ti make himself cash, maybe he can take a huge note from the generosity of this show, the community and it’s staff! Give the $ to where it is needed !

  7. Please show more dogs that are older or harder to adopt out in a different way. Puppies are the easiest to find homes for, but others need more help.

  8. OMG YOU DID IT!!! Thank you for listening to all these comments every time you do this segment about doing older dogs too. Thank you for giving Reggie this chance!
