First Eye Surgery - Horse Shelter Heroes S3E41
Spread The Viralist

We have our first eye surgery in the vet hospital and despite Dr Lydia getting a little bloody, it’s a huge success! There’s a whole lot more, a very well behaved donkey and mule are surrendered, it rains, there’s adoptions, it’s a great episode of Horse Shelter Heroes!

  1. I love how Dr Lydia explains each thing that she is doing so we can all understand why and what is happening. It helps it feel like I am there with you all, helping you heal these wounded soldiers. Dr Lydia is a rock star and one of the best vets I have ever seen.

  2. Do you have a line with the spca of some animal welfare to adres those ingeries at auctions? Or do they just don't give a dime and is it aloud to present animals like that? This is a serious question.

  3. Just at the very beginning of this and all I can focus on so far is HOW can you have that dog in there barking like that with it echoing off the metal walls?! Aaaaargh! Thank goodness it's only for awhile…seems to have let up. I want to kiss the floopy horse face, too… My heart is aching for the lady that made sure her two horses, her donkey, and her mule were all safe before she found safety herself. Those four are ALL so well taken care of and gorgeous!!! I hope they can be kept together….or at least the donkey and mule.

  4. ATTENTION: STAFF!!! I know you see the weather headed for basically the whole Country! Right Now, they are saying Tennessee is right smack dab in the middle of this Horror!!! Please get all the horses(IN) I Don't care how much and how hard, GET THEM OUT OF THIS BLIZZARD! They WILL NOT SURVIVE, in the state, that, ALL THE HORSES are in!!! They are too COMPROMISED to with stand 70 mile an hour wind w snow! Please, Please, put a CALL OUT TO ALL BARNS, Within a 2 Hr Drive, to see IF THE COMMUNITY TO COME TOGETHER AND HELP Y'ALL!!! DO IT NOW! PLEASE DON'T WAIT!!!❤️💔😵‍💫🤯😳

  5. I LOVE how we get to know every single step in surgery!!! Thank you for all you do! I love all the adoptions and its also very brave to surrender your animals! Girl I hope you're going to have such a good life after you get out of your situation too. I wish you all the best <3

  6. Dr Lydia is crazy good at her job. I had to laugh with her exuberant declaration of how much she loved her job, then we see all the blood running down her forearms. 🩸 🩸 Ha ha ha! The two techs are amazing! 🥇 🏆 💯 What incredible talent and skills possessed by those two. Now, let’s donate to help the vet barn get adequate surgical lights! 💡

  7. I had a cat with a ruptured globe removed and had seizures afterwards and eventually causing her death. Dr Lydia can give me and idea why this happened after her removal? The vet gave us no answers who did it and the other one who ordered it gave her some meds but none for the actual seizures but a steroid that did help slow them down but he we could go back she passed away.

  8. No fines for assaulting someone? No jail time? He got no punishment at all. She should have sued him. He will do it again to someone else. He no doubt has done this before…
