  1. I worked as the HR manager for a large commercial fishing Co. with 4 boats about 140 feet each in Ballard Washington.. We docked with some of the discovery boats crews. One time one of our vessel. was in the Bering Sea and was hit with a 50ft rouge wave. It came over the deck , scrambling everyone and slamming them all over. Then it continue to pound the the very high wheel house, smashing all the windows, wiping out all of the electrical equipment and flooding the engine. If you have never seen them in action, know that the Coast Guard is absolutely amazing. They risked their lives getting all 135 people in helicopters and rescue boats. In dry dock I went to go see the vessel. The bow had a 3 foot depth bend on one side. The ship's. bow is made with 4 feet of enforced steel. It was absolutely crazy trying to get everyone accounted for and get the ship  in. I was up for 36 hours counting them again and again. You get really close to the crew because I managed thee boat budgets and crew. They would all come into my office after their trip and just talk my ear off. I loved them and too this day I miss the ones who did not make it.

  2. The icon for this doesn't relate to it, the icon seems to be from the Poseidon movie which isn't real, the real footage from this is more impressive, next time use that.

  3. We have a 23ft boat in Scotland, which doesn't have much draft below us so any rough weather is impossible. These men are either crazy or heroic. I like to eat fish but not to the expense of human life.rogue waves which we have come across have to be endured but very bad all weather reports on vhf should have all boats and ships running for safety.

  4. Man, some of these are absolutely terrifying. I live in Ireland so we don’t really get any of these disasters. Sorta makes you count your blessings.

  5. He doesn't mention that Death valley cools drastically at night. The real danger with deserts beyond dehydration and sun exposure is not being prepared for the shift in nighttime temperature Natural Disasters Caught On Camera.

  6. Conclusion: The vikings heading west from Denmark to Scotland through the North Sea in tiny 20ft wooden boats needed giant sacks to carry their massive balls around.

  7. I was on a carrier in the Pacific. Can’t remember exactly where but we hit some massive waves a couple separate times. Quite exciting and as a young sailor I was proud about never getting sea sick natural disasters caught on camera. 🌊🌊

  8. When I was in the navy on submarines, we went under a hurricane and we were taking 10 degree rolls over 500 feet below the surface… I could only imagine how huge the waves were natural disasters caught on camera.
