20 Times Injured Animal Fights For Life…
It was almost 3 days that we sat in sessions watching the natural process take place after the deadly fight and death of a Male Lion.
the injured male lion has survived and licking his wounds, the young male lions went on the eat the deceased lion and finally the females rejoined the S26 male with his 3 young male cubs
I hope this brings stability to the pride and they get strong and healthy again.
We were all surprised to see the young male lions start eating the fallen male lion – taking turns through the day to consume him – with sun setting the first hyena showed up and the young lions defended their meal.
by morning there was nothing but scatters of the males mane – we found the pride together with the S26 male who was licking his wounds and the 3 young males happy to see their 2 mothers again – did notice one of the females had an injury we guess was from the battle.
