While driving back from the Great House, what do we come across but a dog wandering listlessly across the road. He is much too thin and has obviously been abandoned. Luckily, he was exhausted, which made him a little easier to rescue, and we were finally able to get him. He has no identification and is now at the Pink House, recovering from his ordeal, while we look for a new family that will love and never dump him again!

I went to a shelter once looking to adopt a dog for the nursing home where I ran the activity department, the shelter was overloaded and many of the dogs were full-bred and looked healthy, I asked a worker there why and they said that the town where they were located was primarily upper middle class and upper class and that when these families move they tend to leave their dogs behind, wanting to start all over again at their new location, isn't that bizzare?
