  1. As bad as an asteroid is, the worst extinction event in earths history was caused by a volcano spanning most of Siberia. earth literally killed itself..

  2. See there. If Jupiter were made of gasses, why then did the Meteorite leave black spots on Jupiter? If Jupiter were gasses, the meteorite would have gone into the center of the gases.

  3. I forget where I was but I watched it happen on tv either that day the the day after and it’s one of the reasons why I became so interested in physics and space basically. Truly an incredible time the ‘90’s were.

  4. The red Dwarf Betelgeuse in the NW Orion Belt, just blew up, it nova'd not super nova, the star was faded, the Astronomers were q'd, but the new James Webb telescope can see the explosion ring around it, so the star(red dwarf, 300 times the size of our main sequence Sun)blew up but it's 1500 light years away, so the blast had to go a couple light years out, NASA just released a article on it last week, check it out!

  5. what idiot could have possibly thought that huge collisions weren't possible? a fckin galaxy is going to collide with this galaxy, the sheer number of THINGS means it's likely something is going to collide with something. the amount of gravity changes from mixing stars will likely wobble shells such as the ort cloud, and it's relatives, sending rocks at all sorts of things.

that has to be the most braindead statement anyone in this age could make. well, not involving politics. there are more galaxy's out there than we can imagine, things are going to crash into things.

  6. How is it possible for comets to impact jupiter and explode if there is NO solid surface to hit (bcuz the scientific community swear jupiter is totally gaseous and has no solid/ rocky surface)?

If you throw a rock through a ball of gas…..wouldn't the rock go right through it?

Theoretically, if a comet collided with jupiter, it supposed to go straight through the gaseous planet…

  7. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. Kind of like a father planet that protects the earth from impacts just as our Father God is our protector & Creator of all things.

Also find it fascinating that Jupiter has a large red spot on its side just as Jesus was pierced on His side & red blood flowed from Him. Also, Jupiter has stripes all over it just as Jesus took upon Himself stripes for our healing. GOD IS GOOD & HIS CREATION proves He is real & how awesome He is. ALL GLORY TO GOD!
