  1. Agression and energy are number one deciding factors i have challenged many when i was alone. They always backed down
It is foolish of me to do this some day my luck will run out . I have almost no experience of fighting . Just an attitude which i am unable to limit when challenged

  2. Son of a BITCH. I took martial arts PRAYING for a confrontation and you're telling me my damn body language is screwing me out of it..
Fine. I'll sit like a pussy and wait.

  3. In all aspects it's ridiculous to teach someone what they should do during a confrontation and where to be standing without them actually knowing how to defend themselves because let's say, I'm at an angle and my front foots forward and he attacks me. Well I'm in good position bfor the initial attack BUT THEN WHAT? lol the dudes probably going to over power you and you might be in a life or death fight. That why I say it's kinda pointless to teach these 5 monitor videos. They teach nothing beyond the initial argumental bully phase.

  4. I have partial seizures so any reaction triggers a seizure from mild to uncontrollable. Had it since 9 and am 33 right now. I almost never had to endure fights. I did train a few years in basice karate when I was a teenager. I also can't fully fight as I have crohn's and being punched in the stomach could become life threatening. I respect anyone who has the ability to defeat themselves from an aggressor.

  5. I wonder what kind of clothes should you wear everyday? since I work from home, I can wear whatever I want daily. I get posture should be strong, but what kinda clothes? dark clothes? tight fitting? tactical type gear? flannels? overalls? camo? football/sports jerseys? t-shirts with the sleeves rolled up? In the U.S. if you act too strong or confident, people will want to try their hand at beating your ass or knock you down a peg. especially if they are the same size, they will feel like ok i want to try to my hand at this guy, it should be a decent challenge, since he seems relatively strong. In the U.S. yes there are some thugs looking to rob weak people, but the other half its guys who want to brawl with someone of their weight class.

  6. from my experiences, it is not real badasses who have attacked me, it is wannabe with egos who have watched too much TV. Real badasses rarely mess with people.

  7. About 5 yrs ago, I was walking in a not-so-great area (National City, CA) late at night, wearing a shirt and tie and carrying a brief case. There was a young man, about 20, across the street who immediately crossed over walking towards me as soon as he saw me. I felt (rightly or wrongly) that I could take him. So I stopped, stood my ground, holding eye contact with him as he approached. He clearly saw that I was not afraid, and accordingly walked by, and was so kind as to say, "Have a good evening, sir."

  8. A big strong Nassasistic guy came into the room & rushed to attack me, I hurt him so bad he ran off and 3 police cars came back to arrest me for assault but let me go and told HIM off because I already had a Tresspass order on him. There's plenty of loosers out there.

  9. This is why u find most people in rough areas walking round with a screwface. Not always cos they are just a-holes, but cos from a young age u learn that puttin on a front can keep a lot of sh*t at bay.

  10. They size you up because they are scared shitless they will target someone who will do them serious harm. They can be wrong. Many look like victims but they are not.

  11. Yesterday i had a guy road rage for me for literally just going through the roundabout here in aus everyone gives way to their right. He beeped me and i just ignored it, anyway he followed me extremely close to the back of.my car almost hitting me so i pulled.over to let him pass and.he pulled over.behind me . We both got out and he instantly.got in my personal space and went to throw a sucker punch in front of a primary school mind you. I stayed just outside his reach and he tried antagonising me into throwing the first punch and calling me a bitch. (Why get out of the car if you arent gonna fight?) He says to me. Now since that happened im trying to convince myself that i did the right thing, by getting in my car and leaving because im one to defend myself not start fights. I would like some feedback to understand why i feel the way i do even though it was the smartest decision.

  12. Never presenting yourself as a victim is real important…unless you're a serious bada$$
and you want to draw in a bullying dipsh*t to give him a serious beat down.

  13. Made the mistake of squaring off with a large guy. Im 125, he was 240ish. I didn't want to hit him even after he hit my brother. It's hard for me to fight tho I train for it every day.. I froze, burst my ear drum traded for him getting a throat punch.. idk, just venting! Any advice welcome besides the obvious.. Walk Away

  14. Too many people are scared from me because I'm big and have a stern face. Makes me laugh because guys bigger then me said there scared of me.

  15. Predators like easy targets , weak targets . 1st rule in jungle is to project strength or menace . Some predators aren't predators at all . Some folks join the predator team if they see an opportunity. Jungle strength works like this . Avoid smiling unless someone cracks a super funny joke , keep a neutral or serious face . Keep composure , don't do drama, excessive shouting or excitement. If confronted don't threaten aggressors or turn away if given a verbal threat . Don't go back and forth arguing with a hostile , get to the point and move on if possible, if you have to swear then swear but don't shout . If the hostile reaches for a weapon or puts his hand on you then it's time to fight . Unless you're a trained fighter never approach a fight like a fight in a ring. Aim with the mindset to shed blood or break bones as early as possible. Make sure you leave with the police not the paramedics or coroner . The best fight is the one that never happens. Learn to read people , avoid bad situations and project strength .

  16. Wow, just wow. Recently started following Dr Phillips and absorbing all is wisdom. Trained MMA 7 years, wrestled HS, 31 yrs LE career with many solo fights. His mindset, situational awareness are so applicable to self defense. His "pre-fight" considerations will avoid or win most fights. Seriously, he's minimally in the top 5 of self defense experts in the world. I only wish he lived in the US. I would travel hours to train under him. Even at the rip age of 60 yrs young!

  17. My tip especially for highschool/college students, punch whoever confronts you on first day. No talk, just punch. It will serve the class a warning for the very first day.
