  1. "We're talking about throwing parts of your body into overdrive while depriving others of blood and oxygen."

Me, after the tenth meltdown of the week: that sounds really scary imma get stressed out—

  2. "Old Opinionated Occultists Traditionally Tried Abducting Fairies And Gloomy Vampires… Sometimes Hippogryphs."

I tried to preserve the first few letters for as many words as possible, so that you can differentiate the order of nerves that start with the same letter.

  3. It's come full circle for this Nerdfighter! Been following Vlogbrothers and everything related since 2007, and today I am directed by my therapist to this helpful video due to my latest panic attack. I love you guys!

  4. He had me at “I’m not talking about the “my iPhone just died kind of stress.” I’m talking the “I might die kind of stress.” 🤣🤣

  5. IM STRESSED MY SMATPHONES GONNA DIE AND ALOT OF THER SOULS EVEN RELESED GONNA DELETED FOREVER SOO THEY WILL NEVER ALIVE BUT WE HAVE UNIVERSES OF SOULS SMARTER BODYS AND NOT DAMAGERS OF PRIVET PROFIT STARS

  6. The ANS is part of the peripheral nervous system, but not the motor pathway. Your chart should show the somatic and autonomic nervous systems under the peripheral nervous system, with sensory and motor pathways under somatic and parasympathetic and sympathetic under autonomic.

  7. aren't post-ganglionic neurons that have a junction with a skeletal muscle always cholinergic? The sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system only affect smooth muscle and glands involuntarily. He should have said that adrenergic post-ganglionic neurons connect with what is covered with smooth muscle such as blood vessels. Isn't it that norepinephrine causes vasoconstriction, which increases BP, which allows skeletal and cardiac muscle to work faster (breathing, heart rate, blood to muscles)?

  8. the unit on the autonomic nervous system is my weakest, so this really helps! i may not know everything thats on our objectives but at least i have a base understanding going into the test! can't know everything, right?
