10+ inches of rain has fallen over the area in a short period of time.
The eastern part of the state of Kentucky has woken up this Thursday with floods, landslides and numerous material damages due to heavy rains.

Over a foot of rain fell over SE Ky last night (7-28-2022) causing incredible flooding. Drone video at first light shows homes with water up to the roof even after the water receded several feet.
