When turtles are flipped over on their backs, they become extremely vulnerable. This kind man finds a turned-over turtle on the beach and kindly tips it over, onto its legs, pushing it into the water and saying goodbye as it swims away. What a kind and thoughtful gesture by this man. These people noticed what they thought was a dead sea turtle under a piece of corrugated iron sheet and decided to have a closer look.

They soon discovered it was alive, bound, and had been hidden there to possibly die. They went into rescue mode, trying to save the turtle and get it back into the water and that’s exactly what they did. Turtle numbers are dwindling because of bycatch and egg harvesting, not just poaching. However, if stories like this find their way in front of more people, gradual pressure can continue to be applied to effect change. People need to wake up!

This cat got a needle stuck in its mouth that pierced right through its tongue. Thankfully, the vet was able to remove it and the kitty was fine. I have no clue how this deer could possibly get stuck this way, but a kind man approaches the animal and frees it from its predicament. Once he has the deer in his arms, he throws it on the grass, and it runs like the wind. A deer gets stuck in a trench and can’t seem to get out. The landowner ties a rope around the deer’s antlers and pulls the animal out of the trench. The deer goes ballistic because he just wants to run away, especially with the owner’s dog jumping around. The man takes the deer down and cuts the rope.

Once the deer is free, it takes a few seconds to realize it can run away, and does. A man was out kayak fishing when he discovered a blue heron stuck high up in a tree. He did everything he could to free it and get it to a safe location. He would have looked for an animal rehabilitation center if he hadn’t been in a kayak on a remote stretch of river with no phone service. After dangling from its beak and struggling to survive, the heron looked exhausted when he freed it. The man claimed the bird’s chances of survival were much better the way he left it than when he found it. A heron was found with a string attached to its legs and wings. These kind people cut all the strings and managed to free the bird. The good news is the bird was fine and had no problem flying away afterward.
