The jungle screams of survival by any means. Whether it’s Lion versus crocodiles or bison calf depending itself alone against wolves, the battle is fierce, and there are no rules! Stayed tuned for some of the craziest animal fights you’ll ever see!
Number 10. Lion vs. Crocodile
Lions and crocodiles rarely fight, but they do encounter each other over food resources on and off. I mean, if there is one prey and two predators, what do you expect? At times, one fierce look of the lion is enough to make crocs retreat into the water, but sometimes, they do fight.
Here, three lionesses were against one crocodile, and the fight turned crazy where they fought each other to death. The battle started over a kill when one of the lionesses approached the croc and politely asked it to leave. Upon refusal, they jumped on the croc, and the fight began that ended up with the death of the crocodile, and the lions came out victorious.
It was an extremely rare event caught on camera by some tourists in the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya in 2014.

Number 9. Pigeon and Pelican
Pelicans are well known as large water birds with long bills. They also have a large pouch on their throat that’s used for catching fish and draining water from the scooped-up contents before swallowing. Recent behavior has them picking up cape garnet chicks, which their parents have left to go hunting! Pelicans have become wild and are grabbing this opportunity to feast on them! While they can easily get these chicks, they’ve now gone ahead to grabbing birds, and some of these birds aren’t going down without a fight. There’s a video of a pelican swallowing a pigeon, and this pigeon is seriously fighting for its life. We see it flapping its wing while still on the pouch of the pelican’s throat! The pelican expected the pigeon to submit, but the pigeon was struggling to get out of the pouch. The pelican becomes unable to close its mouth since the pigeon is busy flapping its wings, forcing the pelican’s beak to open. Finally, the pelican swallows the pigeon, but still, the pigeon is fighting back as it’s passing down the throat! The whole scenario is insane! This is the true battle of the birds!
Number 8. Rhinos Teach hippo a Lesson
There is something unbelievably riveting about watching two of Africa's biggest and heaviest animals, the hippo and rhinoceros, battling it out in the thick. Or is that just me? Anyway, somewhere near the airstrip in the Mala Mala Game reserve, a national park in South Africa. In the footage recorded by the reserve's head ranger, a hippo clearly way in over its head can be seen trying its luck with a group of rhinos. The airstrip area was already barren, and the hippo wandered right into the rhinos' territory. These rhinos just didn't like another chunky boy waltzing into their territory. The head ranger also noted that such an interaction was rare, and fights between huge animals were unnatural at best. Side note, a group of rhinos is called a crash. Don't ask why, I don't know either, but I'm sure that one unlucky hippo flight might have figured it out.

number 7. Bison Calf vs Wolf
Bison are big and strong animals. Where, on the other hand, wolves are very fast and intellectual animals. So, how competitive can their fight be? However, the fight that took place was not between a grown-up bison and a wolf. Rather, the incident that was shot on video was a fight between a bison calf and a wolf. This clip contained a hungry wolf planning to fulfill its hungriness by attacking a baby bison separated from its herd. As the herd of bison was crossing the water, the bison calf got left behind and became the target of a wolf. However, the bison defended itself from the wolf’s bite and even started an initiative fight with the wolf, creating enough time for its herd to come and stop the wolf. What a great spirit that baby bison had!
