Hey friend, great video as always ! Could you give me some advices ? I'm currently in a Cathay campaign, and I have Celestial Dragon Crossbowmen in all my armies. Because I think they're more reliable than gunpowder peasants (better range and armor penetration as well). What do you think ? Am I doing the right thing ?
I don't find guns in wh3 as useful in wh2. In wh2 when any model of a unit encounters an enemy model, the entire unit stops and attacks that enemy. Now in wh3 units can just ignore 2 or 3 units in their way and charge to their target. So you need to close any gaps in your front line to prevent the enemy from breaking through. And as you say guns need a clear line of sight, so using them is very tricky.
But they are still the best at taking down someone big or flying because their missiles are very fast.
How do you do this but still keep the harmony buff for Cathay? I noticed that your troops didn’t have the harmony modifier on when they were separated out.
