(not trying to say that ‘judging a book by its cover” is okay! i’m just saying to try an communicate with your kid and ask them why they are feeling uneasy) i’m not saying that you can’t be happy because your child is uncomfortable with him (or her) but because your child feels unsafe in somewhere where they can’t just simply leave or move to another place! please talk to your children when getting a new partner. it might be very difficult for them to adjust or even tell you that they r making them feel uneasy. communication is key, and you can’t have someone in the household when not everyone living there is fully comfortable ! not trying to sound like a “karen” but, parents (or people with younger siblings living in the same house) please please please talk to the people in the house and ask them how they feel abt the new person. this is a huge change and could take a while adjusting! and even if the person seems amazing and ur prince charming, you never know if they have ill intentions to harm ur children/siblings . please stay safe everyone ❣️
