Reminds me of the beginning and end of Plague dogs. Beginning starts with a dog being tested on how long he can swim. It wasn’t his first time so he had hope. Ending of the movie they were swimming to an island with the main characters last line being I think I can see it. Because dogs swim longer when there is hope.
