Dominican Republic does not have better economy because of hard work, but because of legal prostitution, using minors as bait to attract clients, according to Worldwide organizations and clinging to the social system of the USA, a foreign country. The economy of Haiti is poorer, but the values and dignity are more.
I've been reading a lot of these comments, and while some show compassion and sympathy towards Haiti, many seem to think that Haiti deserves this. Despite what you think, most Haitians don't even practice voodoo at all. I'm of Haitian descent myself, and personally know what goes on in the country. Even if this fact where to be true, NO ONE deserves to have this happen to them, no matter their religion.
