The Possum always looks SO SCARY. They 1st will try to bluff acting as if they will "bite" by bearing those sharp teeth, but I've never seen or known anyone who has been bitten. If the threat dosen't leave the opossum alone it will then finally resort to playing dead. Most people are way to afraid to approach a possum & that's really best for everyone involved! Pleases, please don't tease them they are very gentle animals & will not harm humans. If a person is lucky enough to see wild animals, please only quietly take a photo, or simply delight in the moment & let them go on their marry way in peace!
WYI: It is common knowledge that it is12 yrs bad-luck to hurt or tease the beloved animals of Mother Nature's planet/kingdom! ??????? :●}
