Natural Disasters in Arizona

Spread The Viralist

Many of you have been asking about the fires in Arizona as well as some of the other natural disasters across Arizona therefore this discussion is about those fires, floods and dust storms across Arizona from Phoenix to Tucson on down. There is some discussion about volcanos in Arizona being active, although most believe they are inactive.

  1. I tried to find information on Valley Fever in North AZ. I found info for South. Does it spread through the entire state? What about Wilcox, AZ? I googled but didn't find anything on it in that area. Also do many natural disasters occur there? Thank you I appreciate your videos. I've never lived in the desert before but have visited.

  2. For those who poo-poo the EMP prepping…
“The September 1859 geomagnetic storm (also known as the Carrington Event) was a powerful geomagnetic storm during solar cycle 10 (1855–1867). A solar coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth's magnetosphere and induced the largest geomagnetic storm on record on September 1–2, 1859. The associated "white light flare" in the solar photosphere was observed and recorded by British astronomers Richard C. Carrington and Richard Hodgson. The storm caused strong auroral displays and wrought havoc with telegraph systems. The now-standard unique IAU identifier for this flare is SOL1859-09-01.

A solar storm of this magnitude occurring today would cause widespread electrical disruptions, blackouts and damage due to extended outages of the electrical grid. The solar storm of 2012 was of similar magnitude, but it passed Earth's orbit without striking the planet, missing by nine days.”

  3. Paradise has a price. Most of the minor annoyances get great magnification from time to time. Enjoy your place in the sun, it is worth a move to Arizona!

  4. We are finally settled here in Phoenix. I love it. I'm growing a mango tree, guava tree, fig tree and persimmon tree. I hope they make it 😁 Thanks for the info 👍

  5. Can you do a show on the best areas in AZ for a family farm? A house on 1 to 4 acres where there is good farm land, water and we can grow chicken. The farm should be about 5 to 10 miles away from a small town (less than 20-25k population) for services and supplies. The town/community should lean toward "organic" living.. Thank you.

  6. Hey Jeff love your delivery of topic. I bought my 1 acre in Oracle 14 months ago but just got entirely set up when the mountain fire started. We are are code yellow set status however backfires are being set as winds died down. My parents and cousins are all Arizonians by birth from Phoenix, Yuma,Casa Grade,Tucson,Show lo, Flagstaff. I choose Oracle because It was a good paid off buy and it's a way to the city but I am 61 and still have some steam left so I pulled out my California stakes and have no regrets even with a wildfire raging out my front window 10 miles away. If your fearful don't move if you move anywhere it's always a risk. I as you have lived a few different places during and after the Air Force change is good like the fire regrowth happens. The earth is alive no place is 100% safe if you choose Arizona do it no fear!

  7. Ugh…I am in Socal…the Sierra Nevada (my favorite place) is practically burned down and now the mountainside right where I wanna relocate in Az… God is angry, I'm convinced. BTW- I like to trail cycle and I wear shirts exactly like your wearing. Dry-wick material with a high nick because I burn easily. They are hard to find…womens shirts always have a low or v-neck… that just means I have to use more sunblock that makes me sweat more.

  8. Thanks Jeff! Great video. Mugs would be nice.
Regarding Buckeye, my relatives in the Air Force bought a brand new house out there a little over 2 years ago and they have about 30 thousand dollars in equity now. It was a smart move on their part.
