Sometimes all you want to see is a bunch of people getting wrecked by the unimaginable power of nature! Whether these are hurricanes, floods, sandstorms, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes – we’re definitely down for some cool natural disasters. So long as they don’t happen in real life and don’t kill any real people, of course.

  1. To be honest, volcanoes possibly have the greatest potential for disaster films. The way they work makes for great film material. I find Dante’s Peak to be one of the best disaster films out there since it’s not over-the-top AND is based (loosely) on a real event (the 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption).

  2. Not even an honorable mention of Dante's Peak? That's a good movie and was inspired Mt Stain Helens eruption in 1980. Fun fact: Some segments of the movie where filmed there too

  3. 8:00 the "we got cows," is not the most memorable line from Twister. It's actually when they are describing the various T levels of tornados, from t1 to t4, when Jamie Gertz asks if there was a T5 – which prompts a simultaneous silverware drop & silence and then someone says, "The finger of God."

  4. that poor Hollywood sign-
I have seen it destroyed in many movies
and its also doing to probably be destroyed in the series 9-1-1
because of a damn breaking in the 4 season premier-

  5. They Put Cloudy Shit, Wizard of OZ, Twister, and Rouge Wave But they exclude 2012, San Andreas, and Into the Storm PLUS the most exciting scenes of Geostorm (The giant hail scene was pretty exciting yes. But what about the extreme heat in Hong Kong! The tsunami in Dubai!!!) YOU GUYS HAVE TERRIBLE TASTE!

  6. Watch mojo the movie Twister doesn’t take place in Kansas it takes place in Northern Oklahoma Wakita, Oklahoma is an actual town. Dusty has a University of Oklahoma hat in it the dorthys in the movie one is at the National Weather Center in Norman Oklahoma at the University of Oklahoma, the other is in Wakita Oklahoma in a museum
