Local residents continue going in and out of the Philippines’ Taal Volcano island to rescue some of the animals that survived the eruption on January 12.
Footages shows volunteers using boats across the lake to bring horses and other animals to safety on Tuesday (Jan 14).
Trail-riding is a popular attraction in Taal, which is why the island became home to almost 3,000 ponies that were used by tourists on day trips.
Sonny Rivas said that they are also using this opportunity to check some of their belongings that were left during the mass evacuation.
