  2. Oh that dear dog such a sweetheart, so pleased that those people found him & it's marvellous what they could do for, thank you for rescuing this precious soul x.

  3. Another amazing rescue by the HEROES at St. Louis Stray Recsue! Guys, this is a huge problem in the city. There are tons of run down, abandoned houses and fields in north city with abandoned stray dogs living in them or walking the streets. Most are pits or pit mixes and were only bought and kept to be mean for protection of the trap houses. Then left for dead when they arent needed, usefull or convenient for low life pos! Stl stray rescue has many, many great pits that just need good homes!! I volunteerd there and still see volunteers walking them(almost all pit mixes) dogs downtown. I always roll my window down and tell them" You just really really made somebodys day!!" And people ALWAYS reply " oh yeah, hes a happy boy/girl right now". But theyll be back in a cage for all but that hour or so and its heartbreaking.? We also have overpopulation due to these houses of horrors called "puppy mills" in Missouri. Its B.S. Make the mills illegal and lets start a "second chance" program with pairing up these dogs with non-violent prisoners. Its. Win-Win situation! Most dogs go on to be service/stress dogs that are worth thousands. Plus it shows convicts, responsibility, love, compassion, patience, loyalty etc.etc..Lets start a petition guys! Seriously…. Bless you Donna and Randy Grimm who started STLSR and works tirelessly for these animals.
