Sometimes, romance movies just don’t end in the happiest way. Movies like Romeo+ Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Titanic, Ghost, The Fault in our Stars, Harold and Maude, Love Story, Brokeback Mountain, Titanic and Wonder Woman end in deaths but the love they show in the films are a reminder that love is powerful.

  1. me already knowing that titanic and Romeo+Juliet will be on here, but still watching it anyway
    (Edit)
Also, why aren’t rose and jack first?

  2. Personally, I am so over Romeo and Juliet. Satine and Christian should have been higher because he straight up tells the viewer in the beginning that she dies and yet you find yourself so wrapped up in their romance and so hopeful that you forget the inevitable end. The first time I watched the movie and random subsequent times after her death felt like a sucker punch to the guy.

  3. Although it was a toxic and abusive relationship, Jason Dean and Veronica Sawyer should have been in this list… like any time that they WERENT murdering someone, their interactions were adorable…. and I ship it way more than I should… soo…. ? and also jack and rose should have been number one

  4. I’m sorry but Romeo and Juliet is NOT more romantic than Titanic. In Titanic, Jack makes Rose promise that she’ll never let go of hope, live her life to the fullest, marry and have children and die an old lady. And she keeps that promise, dying at the age of 100. But in Romeo and Juliet, they both end up committing suicide to be with each which I think is kind of pathetic. Especially since Juliet is only 14!
