Nancy Janes visits Romania several times each year to document the overpopulation of stray dogs and cats. Her organization, Romania Animal Rescue, Inc., works with other charities to spay/neuter these animals. In years to come, the population will be reduced where we can attend to the needs of these dogs and cats.

  1. That transition from talk to act is the hardest part of making our world a better place. Nancy Janes decided to act on Romania's dog overpopulation problem in 2003, when other animal welfare charities would not broaden their programs to help Romania. Now at the turn of 2013, RAR has funded the spay/neuter of more than 18,000 animals.

  2. Great video, guys! I never saw this one before. Good job getting the message across.
(I'm back here in Romania right now, and have already seen many street dogs.) I hope more people see this and contribute to your wonderful cause. Take care!
