This moved me to tears….. the beauty and power of love crosses all lines. I truly wonder if there’s any such thing as a dumb animal. Thinking they know better than us “superior” creatures. People chipped in to help her get vet care and that was a thing beyond beauty. We can rise to higher levels through LOVE. Bravo to all those who helped Wilbur be himself again❣️❣️❣️??????????????????????????

So many people chipping in… That's the kindest thing I've ever seen people do. I've met a wattlebird and they are so, so sweet! (I love birds)
I'm so glad you raised the money to pay for the broken leg!!!! I have a similar story except my animal was a rat that my neighbor wasn't willing to keep after her partner (the rat's, not the neighbor's) died… And since I had a single female rat she gave her to me! Unfortunately about 2 weeks after I got her she developed a tumor on her side? eventually it grew to the size of a golf ball and the maintenance man in my building noticed how much it affected her life and he knew of a vet who volunteered to do the surgery FOR FREE!!!!(A $1,000 SURGERY!!!!) anyway, Lexi weighed 18 ounces before the tumor was removed,and 12 oz. after(!!!! 1/3 of her body weight!!!!!)… Lexi lived a full, and amazing life!!! Thanks to Dr Katrina Ramsell @ NW Exotic Pet Vet, in Beaverton, OR!!!! I can never repay her!!! SHE'S AN AMAZING VET (AND HUMAN!!!) Thanks DODO!!!
