I normally eat Thai food when I’m in Bangkok, but every now and then, it’s good to switch things up and eat something different. On this particular day, I was hanging out with my buddy Dwight from BKKFatty (), and we were really craving burgers. So we decided to hit up the Daniel Thaiger street food truck that serves some of the best burgers in Bangkok.

The menu is short and concise, but you are free to mix and match whatever toppings or order however many patty’s in your burger that you like. I decided to order the Mr. Steve, and I couldn’t resist ordering an extra patty, so I got double meat.

One of the things that Daniel Thaiger emphasizes is that they always use fresh, never frozen beef, and make their own burger patties. It truly shows, because the meat is extremely fresh tasting, and incredibly juicy and fragrant. They serve an amazing burger that is truly one of the best Bangkok street food burgers you can eat in Bangkok. I enjoyed every bit to the last bit of juices in my handheld paper wrap.

Daniel Thaiger (แดนเนียล ไทยเกอร์) – Burger Food Truck

Address: Sukhumvit Soi 30/1, Bangkok, Thailand
Open hours: 4 pm – 9 pm from Tuesday – Sunday (closed on Mondays)
Prices: 150 – 200 THB per burger depending on options

How to get to Daniel Thaiger: The Daniel Thaiger food truck sets up right along Sukhumvit Soi 30/1, just about 20 meters from Sukhumvit road. You can either take the BTS to Thong Lo or Phrom Phong station (I think it’s exactly in the middle), and it’s about a 10 minute walk from either station.

  1. In all his videos Mark Wiens seems like the nicest person on the planet. I can't imagine him getting even a little angry even if you take his last french fry. He has so many great videos from so many fascinating places. I can see why he has millions of subscribers. Every time I watch one of his videos I just want to jump on a plane and go wherever he is that day and pig out on yummy food! If only I could wish myself to Thailand right now! It's so amazing to me that regular people (with talent and hard work of course) can make a good living from creating YouTube videos. I admire people who are able to think outside the box and reject the 9-5 grind that so many of us force ourselves to endure. Mark, keep up the great work. Your videos make me feel like I'm experiencing all these amazing places and foods myself.

  2. As a butcher, the colour and texture isnt like any pure beef burger i've ever made, but saying that you're in Bangkok ya can't expect the same standards….if it tastes good, eat it!

  3. The Mr Steve does look good but the sweet Thousand Island Thai dressing will spoil your day……………..Be aware also if not homemade Mayo is sweetened in Thailand and its just gross.

  4. PORK BURGERS are very scary , very salty , I would advise westerners to stay away from raw pork products .
Its hot in Thailand , they don't refrigerate meat , you can get cold beer , but never cold food.

  5. medium cooked meat is great if you want toxoplasmosis, all kinds of parasites and bacteria, in fact most people are infected, as for me no thanks, i cook my meat past well done.

  6. I don't know if i subscribed to your channel… But you are fun to watch eating this burger.
You just changed the world with your reaction and play by play eating…. That i can smell and taste – ONLINE! lolol?❤
