7. To the people freaking out because the dog was saved before the woman: A dog is not a selfish consumer who contributes to the destruction of the planet as we do. We’re selfish, opportunistic parasites. Because we’ve been pushed so far from our nature as humans and shaped by the social construct into a bastardized modern version of ourselves, raised to believe we are the rulers of the earth, we no longer have that connection and respect towards nature in our everyday doings. We’re raised to exploit and consume greedily without a thought for consequences. That dog is closer to nature and has more respect for it than we could ever have. So yes, they did well to save it first. Animals > humans.
