  1. Some people Say their pet is their baby , but when they move, the poor pet idn''t a baby anymore , only a trash they don't want .
Who dare abandon your baby behind when you.move??

  2. ❤❤ I'm sooo glad this had a happy ending, that face in the car had me tearing up! I don't understand why people don't try to rehome 1st, before taking the lazy & awful way of dumping them to a shelter. Hoping these people did try.
I always wanted to volunteer to do these walks, but I know my heart couldn't handle taking them back to the shelter seeing how happy they are to be out. I give ALOT of credit to these people that do this, thank you!

  3. Sorry I get angry when someone tell me they had to give up a dog because they had to move. That's BS!! I stayed in a tent because I needed a place for me and my dogs.

  5. Adopted a Rhodesian ridgeback about 7 years ago and to this day I can still see his face in my memory just asking if we were going back to the shelter. When we brought him home that day, the defeated and sad look in his eyes made me cry so much that my mom had to pull over so I could jump into the back of the car with him. And he laid with his head in my lap the entire ride home. He was so quiet but his eyes were terrified. He hand been brought back twice and knowing that absolutely killed me. But as soon as we got home, he jumped right up onto my parents bed and fell asleep. The picture of him on my phone asleep with a smile on his face was the picture that made our entire family say “this is his forever home. He belongs here. No more going back to the shelter”

We named him Zeus because of his strength

7 years later he’s got a black lab little brother named Gunnar and it’s safe to say, they needed each other. Gunnar has shown him how to be a dog again. How to not be afraid and that it’s ok to be scared he ever was. He and gunnar have such a deep bond that separating them would be devastating to everyone. Gunnar has shown him how to love and rough house and play and Zeus used to NEVER bark. Not a single peep would come out of him. But because of Gunnar, he barks now! He found his voice and his forever home and we love him more than words can say

So yes for those wondering if adoption makes a difference it makes a HUGE difference
