NAHA, OKINAWA – Weโ€™re on the island of Okinawa in southern Japan, and Okinawa is famous for its incredible seafood. Due to being further south, the seafood selection is totally different from what youโ€™d find in northern parts of Japan, here itโ€™s much more tropical.

Today weโ€™re heading straight to the Makishi Public Market (https://goo.gl/maps/pEMxXv49G8NuM7899), an absolute seafood wonderland where you will see a full aquarium of different seafood available and an amazing colorful selection. After walking around for a few minutes we then decided on a very friendly couple who had a fantastic fresh catch. We bought a giant slipper lobster (biggest Iโ€™ve ever seen), a huge green turban shell, and a red grouper.
Total price – 31,680 JPY for everything

Upstairs you can eat all your fresh seafood at a restaurant where they will prepare it for you.
Price – 2,650 JPY for cooking and side dishes

When youโ€™re in Okinawa, visiting the Makishi Public Market for a seafood meal is a must!

  1. Bro sitting here with 10mil subs + money and still acts like an anemia survivor. Your channel is gross now, you're reverse nikocado. Wtffff

  2. Heaven, but I'd hate to be behind the camera watching them enjoy that heavenly delicious seafood boat! I'd only last 14 minutes filming too. "A release of the sea!"

  3. What a great recommendation from the market to have 'half & half' You get to experience the seafood in it's natural & cooked state. Especially if it's your first time and the quality is good.
So simple yet more often looked over.
