1859 Huge Solar Storm – Carrington Event 🤯 #astronomy

Spread The Viralist

Back in 1859, Earth got hit by the most powerful solar storm ever recorded — the Carrington Event. A giant burst of solar plasma, called a coronal mass ejection, reached Earth in just 17 hours. That’s insanely fast, because these usually take a couple of days. When it slammed into our planet, the skies lit up with bright auroras so strong that people could actually read newspapers at night. But things got weird — telegraph systems failed, some sparked, and a few even caught fire! If something like that hit us today, with all our tech, phones, satellites, and internet… it could be total chaos.

  1. God tells us how this world will end just not when so call on the name of Jesus today for your salvation because tomorrow is not guaranteed! Jesus is the only way to eternal life and all other roads lead to destruction, His word not mine. God bless you all

  3. If this happened now or in the future, we'd be completely fucked. Just how many of our systems and such are controlled by tech??? Nuclear reactors, navigation systems, life support, power grids etc. It would all be affected. The nuclear plants would be okay for a bit, since they tend to have backups for situations like that, but we all know how badly things can fail involving anything nuclear. We'd be FUCKED for a long time.
