In January 1905, a piece of Ramnefjellet fell into Lovatnet in Loen, Norway. The wave killed 61 people and threw a passenger boat hundreds of metres inland.
The survivors rebuilt on the same shore. They even repaired the boat.
In 1936 the same mountain fell again, nearly three times bigger. 74 people died, and the boat was thrown ashore a second time.
