5. I would say, releasing a turtle into the wild. Would be a bad thing because they're raised. Domestically, in from the wild, in the captivity, back into the wild. So there's survival rate will be very low. You would have to put out a higher ratio. I like for every 10 sold. You would have to release 5 or better. And you would have to release some, it's older. You would probably have to ask someone a lot smarter than me. Then, younger because of the survival rate and it needing to protect itself, it be better being a larger size than it would be an adolescent. Easily swallowed

6. I don't know how long it's been. And how long he's been out of americans, we eat turtles too, especially in Louisiana. In the Bay U at least when i was growing up in the 90s . There's a few ways they cook them. The number one way I hated and couldn't stand it is when they cook. A pot look like a soup out of the turtle in his real fatty and gummy.And it's not pleasant but grilled aint that bad? If you don't got a real fatty piece.     Sonny, I grew up in NW Alabama. We didn't eat turtles. Here I've been looking for a wild, small turtle for a pet… And these people are eating them. I'm all for helping the endangered make it to larger sizes and laying eggs.
    I don't understand why they have to die.

20. Eating turtles isn't really a strange foreign concept. A lot of Southerners here in the U.S. enjoy Snappers and Leatherbacks as well. I live in Southeastern Ohio and a lot of my family and friends love turtle meat. I'm not a fan myself though.
