Dua of protection that the Prophet, peace be upon him, recommended saying three times morning and evening

ARABIC TEXT OF THE DUA:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
TRANSLITERATION (how to recite):
Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma’a-smihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i, wa huwas-Sami’ul-‘Alim
ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing

Whoever says this three times in the morning and three times in the evening, nothing will harm them. Recited morning and evening
WHEN TO RECITE THIS DUA:
This dua is recommended to recite for protection from evil and harm. Recite it with sincere intention and full certainty that Allah will hear your supplication. Allah the Almighty said: “Call upon Me; I will respond to you” (Quran, 40:60).
Best times for dua: after obligatory prayers, in the last third of the night, between adhan and iqamah, on Friday, during rain, when breaking fast.
VIRTUES OF THIS DUA:
This dua is narrated in the authentic collection “Abu Dawud” under number 5088. Scholars of Islam emphasize the importance of regularly supplicating to Allah with this dua. Sincere dua is one of the most powerful forms of worship, and Allah loves when His servants turn to Him with supplication.

1. Begin with praising Allah (Alhamdulillah)
2. Send salawat upon the Prophet, peace be upon him

5. Raise your hands to the sky
6. Be certain that Allah will accept your supplication
7. End with salawat and the words “Ameen”
CONDITIONS FOR DUA ACCEPTANCE:
For dua to be accepted by Allah, several important conditions must be met:
– Sincerity of intention (ikhlas) — call only upon Allah
– Certainty in the response — do not doubt that Allah will hear
– Consuming halal (permissible) food
– Not being hasty — do not say “I asked but was not answered”
– Presence of heart during dua — do not recite mechanically
– Begin and end dua with praise of Allah and salawat
Allah the Almighty said in the Holy Quran: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me” (Quran, 2:186). This verse is a great consolation for every believer — Allah is always near and always hears our supplications.
