  1. When I saw the trailer the part I was expecting the most was the end. But watching reactions the part which impresses me the most is the theater mystery.

  2. It's so cool to see you as excited about Mitya as I am. He grew on me fast in Act I, but Act II was everything.
The way you literally theorized the whole way and figured out the plot of the whole quest, you have a knack for it i swear.

  3. I wanted to add a thought on the reasoning for why the Fatui want to defeat the HP: It comes down to the debate of freedom vs. safety. The more freedom you give up, the safer you will be, and vice versa. The Fatui (or Pierro, at least) believes that by submitting to the HP's rule over Teyvat that yes, they might be keeping the world safe, but they are also restricting it. By allowing such a powerful force to ensure your protection, you are also submitting yourself to their whims. So you are never truly safe, because the HP could decide to completely destroy Teyvat and all its inhabitants — as they have done in the past, with the celestial nails erasing civilizations that came too close to stepping over the lines the HP established (presumably to keep Teyvat as a whole safe from the Abyss, though this is just a theory for now). So ultimately, the Fatui are striving to free Teyvat from the oppressive safekeeping of the HP.

  4. I believe project Mistelteinn is named after the norse myth about the death of the god Baldur. He was the most beloved son of the goddess Freya, who went around to all worldly things, rocks, grass, the trees, the animals- everything- and asked them not to bring him any harm. She neglected to ask the mistletoe(Misteltein in norwegian), as it was young and she deemed it harmless. The gods made a game of throwing things at Baldur, as nothing would harm him. Except Baldur's blind brother Hod. Loki the trickster god fashioned an arrow out of the mistletoe, and invited him to join in on the fun. When Hod shot the arrow, thinking he was just joining in- he ended up killing Baldur.

  5. What I love about watching your playthroughs of the quests is that you are one of the few people I follow that plays Lumine. Even if I prefer Aether, it's nice to see a different perspective sometimes. Tbh tho, as much as I love the VA for Aether, he does sometimes go a bit too extra sometimes with his Aether performance..but the Lumine VA does a pretty consistent good job and it doesn't go into anime cringe territory. 🤣🤣🤣

  6. 3:37:55 I do see how its not clear, but i also clocked that shit so quick after thinking about it more and guessed alyosha first try. Traveler brought up the folklore that Alyosha told them when they first met. Basically that Death greets the soul as an old friend to guide them. Out of this cast, Alyosha is the person Traveler has known the longest, and even his description in the picture says “Travelers first friend in Snezhnaya.” At first even i was a little confused and then i thought of that and i was like omg that has to be it. And even all the evidence brought up makes so much sense. Vodyanitsas song only guides the dead and before Mitya, Alyosha was the only one whos been in the storm and returned on his own. The breakdown of the traveler figuring out when this all began is further supported by the lights flickering in the cut scene just before the start of the storm, Mitya and his mental breakthrough, activating the curse of death during the dress rehearsal. Idk I loved this quest and was honestly shook the whole time i was playing. And the atmosphere was so creepy and the sudden deaths each night actually felt kinda scary in my opinion and not to mention the ending of the quest was just INSANE Traveler stood on business against THE DEATH for the sake of Paimon, it was amazing

The heat death of the universe is a specific hypothesis of how the universe is gonna end. I'm not a physicist so correct me if I'm wrong, but to my understanding:
Currently, the world operates on energy changing and moving. Over time, it inches closer to being evenly spread out. That's the heat death of the universe. Everything is as balanced as possible, meaning there are no new changes needed, meaning perfect stillness.
Best analogy I can think of is the wind – it moves from spots of high pressure (more air packed into a unit of space) to areas of low pressure (less air), trying to balance out the amount of air in each place. If that happens, the pressure in each space becomes equal, so no more wind.
Same applies to basically everything else. Including heat.
Energy being spread out as thin as it can be means nothing more can happen, and that means, for example, that no new stars can be born!
Again! I may not know what I'm talking about, so please please please correct me if something isn't right – I wanna learn too!

  8. 5:08:00 I'm pretty sure they're not worried about them abandoning them, but them deciding they're too troublesome and destroying them. Until they overthrow the Heavenly Principles, it's always a constant risk.

  9. I love seeing you do the quest when you haven’t seen the trailer or anything about it! I saw a post that said the ronova reveal would have been so much better if she wasn’t in the trailer and watching you go through it having seen nothing was super fun

  10. We act only for the greater glory and solidarity of our nation. May the aurora shine ever on and the tundra always stand firm.

    -the rooster in act 1
-the leader of the rokot act 2

Yes I think that the rooster is in charge of the rokot as well as the veche. Mofo playing both sides, ain't he.

  11. Mitya angel motifs hint that he will get cooler trust, and the ending note of Rokot’s notice of Lelek’s suspension is the same as Rooster’s final address to the Veche so…maybe?

  12. It took someone else to point out that alyosha says he doesnt get it when you making the sleeping principles joke
    Its ronova
Ronova says she dont get the joke

  13. My prediction is that we’re gonna throw Ronova into the Shadow Realm without defeating her. It’s on the nose, but the middle of archon quests tend to be cognitively easier than the beginning or the end so that players focus more on individual characters and environments while they build up the “final battle” phase of the arc.

  14. 5:07:50 well lets not forget that the heavenly principles have smited some nations just like that but deploying a celestial nail. We saw what happened with Zibai's nation, lan gan. They didn't do anything but witness the fall of the moons.
It wasn't only Khaenri'ah that was wiped out. It was sal vandygnar (dragon spine now) and hyperborea and even enkanomiya. How can a nation actually feel alive when they can be simply wiped out without reason or explanation. To them, its not living until theyre allowed to actually feel safe.

  15. I wanted to kick myself at the end of the mystery, cuz during the flicker event and Mitya dropping his pen, I SAW Shram and “Tonia” appear in the audience, but I just thought my ping was bad so they loaded in late or something.

  16. 5:02:51 I think maybe this might have been og Zandik, but at some point with the only Dottore left living it became something different idk.. but he was and would always be only a part of a soul and could never evolve past the age and time he was created so I think maybe his goals were different. He was very crazy though and I think og Zandik definitely cared more about defying fate than the Dottie we knew :3

  17. Did he notice the graze Lumine left on Ronova? She was distracted for a second, sure, but it's still pretty significant how strong we have become
