  1. As one who lived through the 89’ earthquake, this is no joke. I watched the streets of San Francisco turn into what looked like surfing tidal waves. Freeways collapse, a bridge breaking apart and mass hysteria. 🔥☑️

  2. I see why her jaw hit the floor. That is mind blowing to see. W video man, you put in the work to find some bangers I have never seen. The last one is a true nightmare tbh!

  3. I was living in Southwest Michigan, about 40 minutes from Lake Michigan, in 208-2015. One morning, in 2014 or 2015, I woke up to my bed shaking. (And not in a good way.) I thought it was a large truck going down the street (which was illegal with the residential street). When it didn’t stop after a couple of seconds, I got up and that’s when I realized everything was shaking! That area does not typically get earthquakes, or at least not ones you can feel, and I realized I had NO IDEA what to do! Thankfully, the old house I was renting had a sturdier foundation than I thought. Lol.

  4. in 1989 we were in the epicenter of the Loma Prieta earthquake. My girlfriend and I were shopping for Wedding Gowns and were in a dressing room. Suddenly, we were thrown flat on the ground and could not move and we clung to each other screaming. The ground beneath us shook violently and everything around us crashed to the ground. All the windows broke out. The huge chandeliers above us, turned upside down, and the globes flew to the ground. Huge gigantic shards of glass remained in the Windows threatening to skewer us. It was the most frightening thing imaginable. For hours everyone in the shopping center sat on the grass very quiet. No one talked. We watched the skyscrapers around us swaying back-and-forth. No electricity, no cell phones, just people happy to be alive.

  5. You’re actually supposed to get in a stairwell or somewhere with a reinforced top vs getting in an elevator. Getting in an elevator is a death sentence

  6. Earthquakes are terrifying! We had one where I live in Australia, and it was small (like 4.9 or something) and I can't even describe how it felt. I couldn't imagine it having being this big.

  7. Growing up in Alaska, earthquaked are very common. You should check out the videos from the one that just happened in 2019. My jeep was bouncing off the ground with me in it.

  8. The earthquake experienced by the streamers in Thailand. I noticed they were on 12A floor, which could actually be the 13th floor – the floor considered bad luck by some.

  9. Anyone here from Los Angeles in the 90's? Who experience the Northridge earthquake in 94'? 6.7 Magintude..I was 10 yrs old when it struck. Our home was built on a hill slope so we had a set of raised steps from the yard to the front door about 6' at the highest point..the steps separated from the main house structure abou 3 to 4 inches and the side walks due to already being compromised by tree roots folded up like a cards stacked up for a house of cards. We had no water for about week or two…homes were exploding days afters due to gas leaks and compromised water heaters…we had fungul fever outbreak..I remember having to wear mask back then so no to breath in asbestos, chemical smoke from fires and the fungus that got spread out…it was crazy. Remember waking up very early in morning hearing several dogs barking in the neighborhood, getting up to look out my window seeing several of them running up the street and then this loud humm for about a second or two before the house started shaking. It hit slow and hard at first and then just back and forth powerful swaying. I remember almost falling down the steps while we ran out of the house…such a vivid memory of the shaking, the dark, the orange like street lights , the yelling and crying all night..from neighbors up and down the street. Wild….

  10. I grew up in Cali during the quake of 89. It was so strong it sloshed water out of swimming pools 100 miles away. Earthquakes are crazy strong. It's incredible the damage that can occur

  11. 1:47 I don't think I could just stand there during an earthquake I'd have to sit on the ground or something that's just insane I'm already in 2 minutes into this video and I already know this is going to be in a good video.
    Amazing job Robert hugs tightly🤗✨🤗
