Funny how with all that going on, no one had any footage of it bar one not so convincing picture.
Also funny how the spirit box was able to play all that music, say your welcome, say dates etc but wasn't able to say the name.

I visited Gettysburg as a child and while I didn't see any ghosts I felt an awful heaviness in the battlefield and just wanted to leave. It was awful

Is it possible that, for "a reason", we don't know what that readon could be … it could be any one of a number of different ones —
the dimensions are drawing closer together? or, are the differing frequencies, between human life on Earth, and, the Reality of Hereafter — could they be getting closer?
Or, are WE, those of us who are alive upon the Earth right now — could WE be Spirits of a particular vintage, or, dispensation — that WE are more in tune with the Reality Hereafter Life on Earth, or "Eternity"?
We were spiritual beings first, for EONS. Now, we are here, in this World that was prepared for us, struggling with trying to adapt to what comes with a Spirit now inhabiting a physical body, perhaps for the first time? Perhaps for the 2nd or 3rd time?, in different eras and circumstances?
One metaphor that's useful, is to think of our human body as , like a glove.
The animating, living being, our Essence, that leaves the physical body when that body gives out, when that body "dies" — when
inside the "glove", is like a warm, living Hand in an inanimate glove.
Our physical body is "alive" with various physiology functioning, but that functioning, physiological vessel of flesh & bone, is a vessel, or, a temple, for our Spirit. Why we should takd care of it — it's our sacred duty to take care of the temple our Spirit inhabits — our Spirits are the offspring of Beings so highly evolved as to be literally, divine in nature.
When we die — as those Confederate and Union soldiers did, and there is tremendous, intense physical sensations & feelings, of the physical body, as well as intense emotional feelings.
But, ALSO, their Spirits experienced all of THOSE
things, too,
plus their Essential Selves experienced it: the battle, the loss of brothers-in-arms, the experience of killing their countrymen, somethings men who were their actual COUSIN.
Civil War soldiers were acutely aware of the poignancy and the sorrow of Americans killing Americans over whether or not slavery should be allowed to continue. There were strong emotions on both sides.
Those strong emotions persist TO THIS VERY DAY. I believe THAT is what keeps the Battles of Gettysburg and Harristown alive today.
THAT persistent division has never been resolved!
The Union won the War.
But, did they?
Or, did the South just give up, because they were beat, wounded, sick, and exhausted — but the conflict was,
by NO means,
"resolved".
War is the barbaric result of unresolved conflict. It signals a complete failure of human relationship — and, Civil War is one of the saddest failures
in all of human existence.
A community turned upon itself.
The way we are NOW. We are in tune with something those Civil War combatants and officers, and their families, were experiencing then. It's as if only
month or two has actually passed.
Re: The 2 day old baby: the mother was likely dying, the FATHER, beside himself with grief, just did whatever he could to deal with the moment.
I can empsthize with him. He was almost blaming, in an emotional way, the b a by for killing his wife.
They had lots of babies then, because so few children lived thru childhood BEFORE VACCINES.

Western Marylander here! On November 1, 2017, I took a bus tour at night with a community college. We arrived in Gettysburg at midnight. We heard rifle shots and cannon fire! We were in town in a wooden area.No one is permitted on the battlefield at night. I also recommend visiting Antietam battlefield. September 17, 1862/ Burnside Bridge is very haunted even during the day! Antietam battlefield was the single bloodiest one day battle of the Civil War. Even December 23,000 Luminary bags are placed on that battlefield to remember the fallen. What many people do not know is that 8 women, dressed as soldiers fought at Antietam. 7 fought for the UNION, two as young as 15 years of age. A dead Confederate woman was found on the Cornfield by a Massachusetts Burial party! 🫡🫡🫡🧢🧢🧢🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

I enjoyed this. Well done. I had a ghostly experience while I was in Gettysburg. I made a point of not reading the guest book which was full of accounts because I wanted any experience I might have to be without suggestions. I heard a cat meow in my room. That was all. Later I read in the guest book that there was in fact a ghost cat.
