🐾My Rescue Owl Fell in Love With My Friend’s Husband🤍
🤍 This is the story of Pandora — the snowy owl who stole someone else’s heart before she ever stole mine back. Once abandoned in a cardboard box, Pandora arrived frightened, unsure, and unable to survive in the wild on her own. Building her trust took months of patience, quiet moments, and unconditional care. Every tiny step forward felt like a victory.

  1. I have a small off grid ' homestead. the winter of '19 60' from my cabin I found 3 snowys on thr ground thrashing about… looked neurological/ poisoning… I called the ' local' rescue, and they wanted me to bring them up to the rescue ( 75+ mi) it was winter & I had 2.5' of snow.. no way to get them to the rescue… I didn't have a choice let then die or try to help…. charcoal gruel and SQ q fluid after 36 hour force feed @ 10 days the adult started tearing the cabin apart so the went outside the Juv took 5 more days to start acting 'wild' again… The day I released the Juv the parents were perched in the trees. I went to release it I normally would put on a perch and allow it in its own time to take off. 20 min later it was still on the perch. ' well I guess you're not ready' I picked it up on my arm and turned to walk back in an it gave me a what I can only describe as a nuzzle and a hug it then turned and launched off my arm. They've been back every winter… some times that stay for 2 weeks some times a month. The Juv brought back a mate 2 years ago… It will come dn to the perch I call twice and wait/ beg 4 food… It's mate has yet to come dn to me but stays in the tree. Unfortunately this spring we've have Great Horns move in… They've taken at least 6 of my local Barred owls… If the GH are still here this winter I don't want to think about what's gonna happen

  2. WHO ABANDONS A SNOWY OWL in a freaking cardboard box somewhere? Why not call a wildlife refuge etc.? Holy crap, what an absolute privilege to have one in your life. Incredible.

  3. She’s a beauty alright, and you just never know why chemistry seems to light up between two souls, but it’s magical to see. Looks like you’ve done an excellent job taking care of Pandora, may you have many years together.🦉✨💕👍

  4. Can she ever get to fly? Like a big enough aviary or room like a school gymnasium? You said you where working with falcons and I know they fly and come back. Is it the same with her?

  5. thank you for giving this little creature a chance, to me all animals are my extended family, you are a special person, you have a soul that lets you do this, thank you
