1. Bandai Namco blocked the original video, so I decided to make the edits and reupload this.
   EDIT: Apparently, Bamco changed their settings while I was uploading this version, so that first upload is viewable but still claimed.

   The very first edit (of 6 at this point), that I released to Patrons and YouTube Members early and got hammered by copyright claims is here:

   All the ad revenue on that one goes to the companies who claimed it, but it is the version of the video as I originally intended it. I still wanted a claim-free version for posterity in my channel library. Or for however long it takes for this one to get claimed again. I'm not going to reupload again if/when that happens.
   Anyway, thanks for the support everyone. I'm just gonna go back into my corner and talk about weird, lesser-known games from now on. See ya in the next one.

4. I actually played First Assault Online, as a fan of the series couldn't wait to try it out. Played a little bit in the testing phase and never returned to it again. Can't believe its been almost 10 years…

5. Blows that this got caught up in the automated copyright pipeline. Despite that, your recommendation finally pushed me to order the SAC box set after sitting on the fence about it for years, and it also bumped the new Prime series to the top of my watchlist. Hopefully there will be smarter systems in the future that can distinguish between blatant copyright infringement and content that actually strengthens brands, like yours.

8. I think gits is special to people of a certain age in the west. Ita amazing how much bigger it is in the west in japan. Not that it is not popular, but back in the day everyone watched the first movie at least. I actually like the 2nd movie more. Watched the series, read the manga, played the ps1 game. It's interesting to see something so special become less a corner stone of a fandom over time. The new show seems good, but man do I feel old lol.

10. The anime adaptation is leaning too much on the "quirky" side for my taste both on the animation and how the characters act/express themselves. GITS always had a mature kind of humor while the new anime series just comes off as a "teenager comedy-drama". To each their own i guess but for me it does not work and pulls me out of the setting i got used to from GITS.

11. it seems to me like in the first part where is good films located, the GITS production team read at least Altered Carbon for inspiration while later teams watched old GITS films as inspiration

16. you should speak for yourself about the 3D cg S.A.C. i loved every bit of it, especially season 2, and i loved the purin character and even the cgi visuals cause it reminded me of the good ps2 games era like xenosaga series, when you say "who wants this" well obviously japan does and me and everyone i showed it to did, you are just being a hateful bandwagon rider and a hypocrite on your own words on evaluating things on their own merit when you were glazing the innocence movie.

    Each character from Section 9 had their own special abilities, and if you performed well enough you could call in a Tachicoma to hold down an area and demolish the enemy.

28. Man, I also remember the hype for “sac 2045”. I forget if I watched one or two episodes before dropping it, I clearly made the right call because that show sounds so generic, which is a word that should not be applied to anything “Ghost in the Shell”. And Purin Esaki certainly sounds like an…interesting choice of character to add to this franchise. 😬 Maybe she was an attempt to appeal to younger viewers? It’s a shame because adding another woman to Section 9 could have been interesting, just like a lot of the background details about the current state of the show’s world, but the execution was clearly just not right.

34. Happy we got to see dungeon no chill. But I have to disagree about Scarlet, still. We can't know for sure what the director wanted out of her acting, how he treated her takes, how the script was given to her, and blaming an actor is easy, but we have seen enough news about the bts of the movie industry to know they are just the weakest link and a scapegoat for terrible producers and companies.
