This movie is a masterpiece and it is all the actress. Shes was unbelievable and creepy. Just a brilliant performance
I was impressed at her performance, she really carried the film, the wish is bending and twisting her brain into a pretzel and you can see it all happening on her marvelously expressive face.

A detail: Before the wish she sits down in front of the window so he wouldn't look down her blouse and after the wish she stands leaning forward
6:07–6:18 the way you cant see her head and expression after Bear calls her "Freaky Nicky" is actually pretty unsettling and some nice foreshadowing
I love how she says "if I was in love with a guy I'd not make it that obvious" and then makes it that obvious.

with the hindsight of what's about to go down, the scenes prior to the wish give me such a bad taste in my mouth
i also love how well Inde acted here. you can sense the casualness is gone in Wish Nikki, and is replaced with a ditzy childlike attitude
I think he was truly selfish because he sexually exploited her even though she wasn't in a good state, then killed himself instead of killing her and leaving her in the middle of all that blood.
the fact she saw him as a brother ..and then he knew he messed up and wanted to alter his wish and not cancel
The real horror is the that his crush was ing his best friend for years and they both kept it a secret.
He literally could have called out to her when she was walking away, got out of the car himself to talk to her, anything. He could have done any normal action, but instead he takes out the twig. Like there was so many other simpler solutions to this.
Why did they cut out all the other f bombs except for this one at 5:20?
After watching until the end. You realise why Ian kept interruption bear and Nikki.
The way her character suddenly transitioned is to good. Her subtle expressions of getting mesmerized are pretty good
This is one of those horror movies where you're basically Screaming at the protagonist to stop ignoring the Red Flags. Even worse is acknowledging them openly and then pretending its fine….
Bear is the real villan
Bro could just easily ran up to her like a cheesy rom-com, said something like "Nikki wait… I lied, I'm all over you and I guess I'm just scared bc when you adore somebody, it's hard to form the words enough to tell them." EASY fix. Like bruh, SHE EVEN GAVE YOU A PASS TO SAY "YES." Then he coulda wished for a billion dollars and been happy even when he found out ab the whole hooking up thing. He woulda gotten with somebody better like Sarah and then lived a happy life.
God, Bear sucked so bad. Like an imbecile version of Joe Goldberg.
to me this is like a javier bardem anton chigurh character moment. i hope she can keep it up in future project

The movie was awful and boring, I cant believe that it got so many positive reviews. Especially when the main character (Bear) behaves illogically by lying to his friends that everything is fine (when he obviously knows its not) and then, after many bad interactions with Nikki, he finally decides to try and reverse the wish? I hate when the plot doesnt make sense and this is as basic of a plot as it gets. Awful movie.

This isn’t a monkeys paw situation. There’s not necessarily drawbacks depending on the wording of the wish. When he looked it up online it showed some peoples wishes turned out good but bear didn’t know a cheap wish stick in a store would be real. I can’t be mad at him for making the wish but what he did with the wish is what made him a villain
that smile she does at 9:41 is my favorite moment. it’s soooo creepy
I feel the directors/writers included the scene of Nikki giving cash to a homeless man to show that Bear liked how kindhearted she was, NOT just because he liked the idea of her
For any1 who might be confused, nikki saw bear as her brother, thats why she asks him head on if he has any feelings so she can clear it right away, if you paid attention to the conversation between nikki and bear in the car she uses “ew” alot. She also told sarah she sees bear as her brother, twisted nikki also wrote a poem about romance between brother and a sister. Original nikki musta been horrified by whats happening
This movie was an absolute 10. Great acting, original story very creepy. The only thing that didn’t make sense. Is that old car that bear drove.
Don’t need to obsess over any girls guys and you won’t have any problems. If you force someone to love you it will not be good for you and her. You have to live your own life and then you will find girl who really loves you
