Why 99% of Men Freeze in a Street Fight (And How to Survive)

Why 99% of Men Freeze in a Street Fight (And How to Survive)
Spread The Viralist

Everyone thinks they will “see red” in a street fight. The biological reality is that 99% of men go completely blind.
When a violent ambush happens, your heart rate spikes to 160 BPM, your fine motor skills evaporate, and you experience tunnel vision. This is the “Freeze” response. Your own anatomy betrays your training.
In this masterclass, we clinically deconstruct the biology of fear and introduce the G.O.R.I.N. Protocol—the ultimate psychological override switch used in the R.O.N.I.N. system. Learn how to drop your center of gravity, utilize the Ibuki breath to manually force your heart rate down, and neutralize a threat with zero emotion.
Structure over strength. Mind over panic.
⚔️ In the next video: Now that your mind is clear, we deal with the physical reality. Statistics show 90% of street fights start with a blind, looping Haymaker. Next week, I will show you why boxing head movement gets you knocked out on the concrete, and how to clinically intercept the street brawler’s favorite weapon.

  2. The worst thing here is that dudes like me let ourselves get out of shape so even if we do control the breathing etc we'll be quickly out of breath and puffing pretty quickly. First thing, I'm looking at myself too here, is to get back in shape so that there's a better chance to protect yourself/myself and more importantly family.

  3. I believe and understand what you say about shaking and loss of fine motor skills. Why do so many carry a hand gun? That is fine motor skills. How can you use those skills when you hands and fingers become flippers?

  4. Very good advice. I’m a 9th Dan in TKD and have taught self defense and you have good advice. What is your nationality & an email please. Blessings!

  5. my Mother had an ambush set for me while sleeping at 3am. the guy came in with a belt. I had a machete. But he was bigger then Lou ferringo so I didn't try to use it. then he straddled me while I was laying on the floor and land landed solid blows to my chest!.

  6. I've had this happen to me almost a year ago, this teenager came up to me and a friend while we were smoking weed, we had a basketball at the time after dribbling together a bit before, the kid asks for it but it was clear he didn't have good intentions and so we refused, the kid gets pissed and starts spraying me with a water gun straight into the eyes, i had glasses on and so my vision was protected, flabbergasted by the situation i spray the kid back with some water i had in a bottle, told him to get the fuck away and he does.
Low and behold he shows back up but with almost 12 or 13 other teens who proceeded to try to bully us into giving them the ball, and we squared up to stand our ground to the kids (what the fuck are y'all gonna do ?), at that moment, i felt it, this deep rush of adrenaline, combined with the THC in my system, my heart rate spiked and mindful of it i was shocked at how hard it can hit, my hands started sweating and shaking, my heart was beating in my throat, my legs felt like they wanted to give out, it was a very bad moment for a fight, even if its just a bunch of random teens, in numbers they can do damage, while i was bluffing, inside i felt like exploding, all be it we realized that this is absolutely not worth it and decided to walk away, they proceeded to follow us for the next 15 minutes throwing palm sized rocks, a bunch of uncivilized ill raised pussies.
Ever since i took that as a lesson in my imaginary scenarios, to be ready for this dreadful feeling if something ever does happen, i need to control it if i ever wanna protect someone i love or myself.
Thank you for the tips brother.

  7. "Here in India, if a traffic dispute arises, I just stay in my car and shout at the other driver to satisfy my ego 🤣. I never get out of my car, no matter how much he challenges or insults me. Street fights are not worth our time and energy.""".

  9. I have to say, since I unfortunately used to get into at least a few fights a week when I was younger, your channel and your advice are probably the best I've come across so far. I recognize many, if not all, of the situations you've described.

Unfortunately, even though I already knew the "hit first" rule, I wasn't one of those people who could do it at first. For at least my first 10–15 fights, I always felt like I had to take a punch before I could fully respond. I was probably lucky that I was used to getting hit, since I'd already been boxing for about 10 years by then and had never been knocked out by a single punch.

As I got more used to those high-stress situations, I stopped taking that risk and started striking first instead.
The biggest hurdle I ran into, though, was tunnel vision.

  10. This happened me last night. Some guy out of no where instantly became aggressive at me. The shock completely froze my body and left me very shaky. I havent been in a street fight for about 25 years. I was trying so hard to dump the adrenaline but my body wouldn't allow me. The seen the panic and knew he wss in control. Watching this video so this doesn't happen again. Next time will be met with response

  11. I know you think most people are dopes, but I tell you honestly that I DESTROYED a woman in 2 punches without thinking. She laughed, we were drunk, I was insulted and I DID see red. Before I knew what happened I had punched that taller, heavier woman in the THROAT. She was stunned and stumbled back, and I used my entire body to punch her in the left breast. She crumpled to the ground. I went to a friend's house and wailed on his punching bag until my knuckles were bloody.

  13. Bro…. your talks are soooooooo real, grounded and addressing the problem from grass root. You are treating the problem with a very easy to understand scientific analysis. I subscribed instantly.

  14. The thing is, fear causes so many different effects on people. My wife was a black belt in karate – could handle herself but when a man tried to bundle her into a van, she froze. Thankfully some guy saw it and managed to scare them off. Me? I'd rather do my best to defuse the situation or not get into those situations in the first place. 47 and the last time I was in a fight, was at school when someone jumped me and I threw them over my back.
