7. Im not saying this is the case with these trains. But I have been on trains many times where people are packed in so tightly,standing in isles and doorways. Ive always thought that it has to be a health and safety issue. Which could lead to many people being injured in an incident like this. Im not saying this was the case on these trains. But if it was,it could have been avoided.

8. No… he isn't wearing lipstick, this is in fact a rare British male phenomenon look, after they've been talking a lot after eating a good amount of British gravy. What happened was, it was the other way around, this is England's story time now. The British women saw the men with what we now associate with lipstick, and they wanted a forever look routine for themselves and that's when l'oreal got involved obviously and now its plastered on by a handheld device.

14. One of my cousins was onboard the Class 810. She got thrown across the carriage but luckily only had a back and neck injury and is at home, didn't have to have hospital treatment. Wishing the casualties make a recovery! R.I.P to one of the drivers.

22. it's Very clear that poor driver who died tried to slow down at the cost of his own life, he thought of everyone else before him self and he deserve to be remembered for that.. God bless him & his family..

23. What I cannot understand is why the driver couldn't see the stationary train ahead of him and brake? Sincere best wishes to all those affected by this horrific crash and condolences to the family of the driver.

25. Why have the railway trade unions suddenly been given all this airtime? "the general secretary are not being drawn on the causes of the crash. " Why would they even know they've not been in the job for 20 years. And with a Labour government in charge, trying to nationalise everything we, the public, will never be told the truth.

28. I was travelling from lincoln to leicester Monday afternoon. There were some delays already due to signal failure on the railway line to Saint Pancras. I do wonder if signal failure caused the tragic death of the train driver.

30. Interesting, there's several panning shots from 1:20 onwards that shows the right track with green lights on. The track with the train has the train obscuring where the green light would be, but certainly isn't showing a red light (which looks like it should be visible from that angle). So that could certainly explain why the trains were both on the same bit of track.
