This made me so sad. Budgies brother spoke beautifully and really showed how something like this can affect family. I wonder how the parole board members feel when this happens. You’d think they’d be the first to want reforms to the entire system and in not pushing for change they show how little they really care. It’s completely heartbreaking. Budgie lost his life because of their incompetence
Since the author hasn't met the man, how does he know he is meek? By his actions he is the reverse of meek.
The judge who let him out on bail should be held accountable as well.
What part of the population are parole boards made up of? Are they lay people, trained in psychoanalysis , who are the people making these decisions?
