Her eyes aint even open in her picture at the police station. She crashes a bus filled with underage kids and she says "is everyone ok?" Like she just satbup on the side of her bed. Shpuld have been a little more urgency and emotion.

If that doesn’t show how broken Americas healthcare system is then I don’t know what will, these kids had no choice in this event but have to pay 2 major prices, financially and physically. I've been on prescribed benzos for over twenties years now, I barely trust myself to operate a tea kettle, forget a freaking bus! She was absolutely insane for getting behind the wheel with not one, but two downers in her system, and at such an early hour as well. Those poor girls, just terrible. The driver is so very lucky they all didn't end up dead.

I understand she made a lot of bad decisions that day and got kids hurt but I genuinely don't understand what else they were trying to charge her with 😭 like she drove while intoxicated and hurt a child, did she commit other crimes or did they just find different ways to word the same crime so you can be charged an excessive amount so you feel inclined to enter a plea deal

The Driver falling asleep is 100% responsible for the wreck, but the way that guard rail went through the bus wall is concerning too. They're supposed to be engineered to prevent catching on impacting vehicles. There's another channel where an engineer constantly shows improperly installed guard rails.
