  3. Look at him building those thunder thighs back up!! I wonder if they tried cold laser therapy. I've had paralyzed patients return to normal with consistent laser treatments.

  4. Years ago, this couple I know wanted to adopt a greyhound from a greyhound rescue organization. The hoops that couple had to jump through were unbelievable. It took well over a year to be approved to get one of those dogs. There were background checks, references, interviews, home inspections, etc. There were even multiple checks once they got the dog. It pretty much had to be taught how to be a dog. It took a long time for the dog to understand freedom and its new life.

  5. Precious story. So wonderful to hear of people going to this extent to see a dog recover health, function and wholeness. God bless her for her sacrificial love.

  6. Omg it hurt me to see him emotionally struggling with dealing with his situation alone ( I’m very sure his owners try comforting him very much and showing him lots of love) I was just saying in that scene it made me emotional for him❀

  7. I'm disgusted that they still allow greyhounds racing! Ban this inhumane treatment of these beautiful gentle breed! Thank you for saving this gorgeous pup! 😒❀️❀️❀️😘πŸ₯°πŸ˜πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ

  8. I'm balling crying! What a wonderful story!!!! I can tell he's loved more than anything in the world by you. Thank you for loving him so much. He looks so happy!!

  9. I'm so glad Hazel and Lena fought to recovery. One of my ex-racing greyhounds had the same thing happen and we made the difficult decision to euthanize him. But, he was old and we didn't think he could handle the long rehabilitation required. I also had a veterinarian at the time that I no longer trust, but did at that time. I've heard that water therapy can help dogs recovering from spinal surgery — they walk in a narrow pool of water in a medical treatment setting, and the water helps bear their weight as it does for humans. I'm glad Hazel got a second lease on life.

  11. You are great kind hearted people in this cruel world. God bless all team members of your organization for rendering great services for speechless needy animals. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  12. My dog had a crushed pelvis and both rear legs crushed He survived being run over by a car and he’s only 9 pounds. He had 2 surgeries to repair the pelvis with bolts and plates to the hips and with pins to reconstruct both legs. And a blood transfusion. One month later an implant failed but he was up walking. There was no muscle. I would hold him and assist him. One of the pins was pinching him in his hip so he didn’t put one of the legs down. He was walking on 3 legs. One month later that leg was amputated. I stayed home with my dog and watched him 24/7 and I encouraged him with assisted walks. I celebrated him when he climbed on the stairs and started running. That was in 2019 when the accident occurred on 12/1 2020 I was his cheerleader and we were inseparable. Today he’s a tripawd who defeated all odds and he can even jump. He’s 12 now and full of life. Let’s be sure to stand up against animals being used for racing and entertainment. We can’t just say greyhounds. We must end speciesism and include horses, donkeys, mules. Animals are not ours to use and abuse for entertainment!

  13. God bless Hazel! And these people for not giving up on him. This is how humanity is supposed to be ❀️❀️πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ
