It’s nice to hear the lore of the models on my shelf again. Magnus the Red, Ahriman and Kairos Fateweaver looming over my dusty boys and fire-slinging psychic daemons. (Yes I know Kairos isn’t in this video but he looms with Magnus)

It's weird how little of the Thousand Sons I hear about
11:30 The main driving force for Magnus' psycker study was to save his legion from turning into chaos goo, even though that study involved dealing with the great trickster Tzeentch (who was the real source of the mutations).. He never betrayed the emperor. He was not seduced by chaos. He disobeyed his father because he needed to save his own sons. Why did Horus trick the idiot Russ to destroy the Thousand Sons? Because Magnus WAS LOYAL TO THE EMPIRE, and the rebellion would never succeed if Magnus stood with his father. Do you want to uncover chaos? How about you look more closely at Russ.
12:30 No. He did NOT cavort with Tzeentch to break through the barriers. He convorted with Tzeentch to cure his legion. He broke though the barriers to WARN THE EMPEROR of the rebellion brewing, and taking a ship would have taken too long. Hubris? Sure. But his reason was sound, and most importantly, LOYAL.

I'm still hoping the blood Raven are from the Thousand Sons. Due to the fact they crave knowledge even though they don't suffer the flesh change.
I even know about some lore Somewhat to do with the Blood Ravens, but I don't really know if it hasn't been retcon or not?
