Im gonna say something as an absolute train nerd. That was a K5LLA which is a modern train horn and that tunnel you were exploring is in close proximity to BNSF tracks which host about 15-20 trains per day. I have visited the tunnel though and it’s definitely haunted.

The ghost train a long time ago there was a train accident On October It happened
For those who don't know: the ghost train is a real urban legend and in Saint Louis in the early 1990s a man in Saint Louis is working on the night in the track when suddenly the train pass the man and the man had died in the track and the man is now a dead man that's why theres a ghost train in the track in 3.am women's sees a light in the track so it's a ghost train.
