Seeing people actually think while they are talking is surprisingly refreshing. Also, the Old old pirates of the 'ribean ride was actually the best thing, I still have the soundtrack as an mp3, I can smell it every time I listen to it lol
Adam Savage, Michelle Yeoh, Stanley Tucci, Sohla & Ham El-Waylly, Tony Shalhoub, Oscar Isaac, Slavoj Zizek, Jim Jarmusch, idris Elba, Janelle Monae, and Jason Mantzoukas
To name a few…
Wow sam looks different
Best conversation that ive seen so far on youtube. I wish people were more intelligent, respectfull, empathetic and interesting human beings, like these two!!
Can we get Lushious Massacr?
12:27 I have too been victimized by the change of the matcha latte, and now I'm gunna ask them to make it this way
She is so empowering to me especially after seeing her happy considering what she has been through, I'm still 19 myself she is definitely a role model to me.
What is the restaurant called with the potstickers?
by far one of the best episodes ever. the way she talked about her struggles with an eating disorder so openly, with such eloquence, on such a large platform… beyond powerful. podcast dropping when
I love this new era of interviews on topics that actually matter and that the subjects truly care about. What a beautiful interviewer.
Jennette is so great at having a conversation.
I am here after reading "half his age"
Mind you all this girl is happy her only mother is 🪦 no matter how she felt her mother still got her to where she is. Why is she still in the spotlight? Let her struggle like the rest of us. 🤷🏽♂️
Should have asked her what food she liked and hated on icarly
this might genuinely be the most comforting video on the internet. ough wow. jeanette's "say more" and the mutual efforts to actively listen are just priceless. thanks so much josh!
i have had the same dynamic of retaining both high and low expectations for myself that im very grateful ive worked to unlearn. sort of the self fulfilling failure schtick of making lofty promises to myself and others with my heart while, in my brain, never once believing i could actually fulfill them
Wow. How remarkable. I'm currently writing a "no contact' letter to my mother and have been contemplating these very ideas. It's reassuring to see a woman I respect leading the way a little bit for me.
I love their chemistry
This is the best talk and chemistry I’ve ever seen on this channel or anywhere
By far the best episode so far Jennette has such a way of words its amazing. I could have listened to this for another hour! 🥲
bro Jeanette is such a hero for her sharing her story. i hope so many young child actors can avoid the trap that Jeanette unfortunately fell into.
So far most excited for this guest
40:31 I know her role on that show comes with a lot of baggage but I really heard and saw Sam there.
34:46 so I deal with GI problems which in a way is its own eating disorder, and having to de-stigmatize foods is something I constantly have to do
This episode really resonated with me. I suffered from an eating disorder the bigger portion of my life from a young age and the one that brought me out of it was my partner. I never really thought how that experienced moulded me into the person I have become and this episode was really eye opening. I felt relieved that there are people out there who I can resonate with and that there is a reason to talk and get to know new people regardless of the experience that it will result in. I am glad you guys invited Jannette to this show and I am glad the show exists. Thank you for your hard work. <3
We love you, Jannette McCurdy!!
Bless you sweet lady, wishing you peace 🫶🏻❤️🔥🫶🏻
I was late to this one but it was such a great watch. I've peripherally been aware of her book about her life and mom and now I'm going to get it. I would love for this table to flip while she interviews Josh for his last meal. I just want to hear them talk more together.
Shes lookin rough
43:44 this segment has been so good ❤❤
Best episode I've seen hands down
I think this is my favorite last meals episode yet. And I've watched them all
This is one of the best episodes of Last Meals ever, I think. I agree with the person who said they should start a podcast because their insight and especially the discussion about rage and what it means for each of them was incredible. I am aware of Jenette McCurdy but never watched iCarly (I was juuuust too old–I'm a few years older than both Jenette and Josh) and I want to read her books but haven't gotten to it yet. That is definitely going to change. Thank you for this!
funny that barq's is one of the few root beers with caffeine
I have never in my life seen an interview in which two people connect so well. Kudos
What an interesting guest! Jennette is such an honest and funny person. I love how she acknowledges the behind-the-scenes workers who bring the food to the table. I also loved the dialogue—great questions and interesting answers. Good job.
