Lol, we live in the dark ages anymore. Easy to avoid violence. Waste of time. Just exit and do something better with your life. Get into a fight and you'll waste time with police and court. Leave and just get on with life. Or just call the cops. Cops are useless, just exit. 99% of the time, you can exit. Don't waste time on the 1% or you'll get into the mindset of getting into trouble.
If I feel threatened, by the attacker and believe he's going to attack me, I then use Preemptive open palm strikes to his vital body parts

Legality on it sucks, tho. Yes "judged by 12 instead of carried by 6", but you can be going away a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time if you attack first and the court decides against you.
