A tour helicopter off Hawaii’s island of Kauai plummeted into a sand bar about thirty minutes after taking off. The NTSB is investigating the crash.

I live here on the island and there are way too many helicopters doing tours over Kauai and no legislation to limit how many can operate. Also companies are now pressuring the FAA to lower the altitude regulations to 500 feet. Everyone here on Kauai has to listen to the noise pollution from the helicopters anytime we go in our State parks. Time to limit how many and where they go!
